Ballard Sanitation Inc., of Pelican Rapids, MN, was founded by Ralph and Maxine Ballard. We are a true family-owned and operated garbage removal business, involving multiple generations in the day-to-day operations of our company.
Ralph is now gone, but Maxine is still our administrations expert. We consider her the voice of the company, as she handles nearly every call that comes in. Maxine and Ralph’s sons, Kevin and Everett, along with grandson, Brady, run the daily waste-removal operations.

As a family-oriented business, we have a deep connection to our community and are invested in the success of everyone in the area. We fully understand the importance customer satisfaction plays in the longevity of a company, especially in one that survives from generation to generation. At the elbows of the people we most respect, we’ve learned the value of hard, honest work and what it means to face each day with commitment and purpose. The trash removal business that keeps our cities, businesses and neighborhoods clean, organized and functional, is a great source of pride for us.

We don’t believe it’s right to send people we don’t know ourselves to the homes or businesses of our clients. All of our employees are trustworthy, have undergone safety standard training, and must meet Ballard’s customer service standards. Since garbage removal screeches to a halt when equipment breaks down, we have committed ourselves to maintaining our equipment to ensure it is in peak operational order.

Billing

Billing is sent out quarterly for residential and commercial garbage collection. Do you own a Lake Home and only need seasonal service? Do you travel south for the winter and require seasonal Garbage collection? Ballard Sanitation will only charge you for the months you require service.
